You don’t need much to get started: Just a willingness to learn. Sign up online at  http://aarp.Cvent.com/NKAFall2022  Registration opens Wednesday, September 7, 2022. Detailed class descriptions are available on the registration page. You may enroll for any number of classes. Classes are overbooked to ensure maximum attendance. Fees – some classes have fees that must be paid in cash. Become a Master Gardener*      How does your garden grow? Meet a special group of horticulturalists and learn what it takes to become a certified Master Gardener. From the Ukraine to Idaho Tina Polishchuk from the Idaho Alliance for Ukrainian Refugees and Immigrants discusses current events and the Ukrainians relocating to Idaho. Plastics, Pandemics and Politics* Enjoy a civil discussion examining existing environmental challenges and possible solutions based on scientific research. Scenic and Wildlife Photography See some of Idaho’s greatest scenery and a stunning collection of wildlife photos with Boise photographer Dennis Fetzer. Idaho’s Merci Train Boxcar Uncover the history of the 1949 post-World War II gift from France to the United States still on display at the Old Idaho Penitentiary. Discover Pompeii* Join a history enthusiast and learn the incredible story surrounding the events and last moment of the Pompeiians. Tai Chi * Practice Tai Chi breathing and stretching with a focus on rejuvenating muscles and increasing circulation during this introductory class. Volunteer Pizza Party New Knowledge Adventures wouldn’t happen without volunteers. Join the party, enjoy some pizza and see if volunteering for NKA is right for you.
