When looking to showcase the reliability of your power tools, a customer testimonial can always help, and it’s even better if that testimonial comes from a celebrity known for his crafting and woodworking skills.

Bosch Power Tools has launched a new campaign, “What Hard Workers Deserve,” that features a voiceover from Nick Offerman. Offerman, known for his role on “Parks and Recreation” as manly Ron Swanson (and an accomplished woodworker himself) speaking about how the tools are “built for workers.”

"I don't have any fancy advertising slogans to offer here – all I know is that I have always turned to these tools when I want to perform hard work as efficiently and accurately as possible," Offerman said in a statement.

The commercials depict professionals working in extreme situations such as the top of a skyscraper and on the outside of a professional wrestling ring. They show off direct product attributes such as kickback control on drills and an easy ability to switch between an impact wrench and an impact drive.

“We wanted to show that the most important part of any jobsite or situation is the worker. Every day on a jobsite is tough,” said Shannon Blakely, Vice President of Brand Marketing and Digital at Bosch. “The campaign has some extreme situations to highlight that no matter the situation, they get the job done.””

The campaign will run on television and social channels in :30, :15, and :06 versions. The campaign was created by agency Bailey Lauerman.
